__so beautiful --

I can see her at the edges of my vision - ghostly schizophrenia and yet i don't know why this image wont fade away. surely this is some form of insanity, because i must be insane to hold on to my empty hope.

her eyes are the eyes of a stranger and the eyes of something more, laughing, smiling all in the same moment.
this false vision i cling to - too perfect, too happy


there is no place in my life for this
hated, shunned, betrayed, this vision stumbles and sprawls at the feet of a compassionless reality

hope is a blade curved back upon the one who wields it. And yet, the masochist i am, i cling to the hilt and drive it further into my chest

this beautiful stranger reaches to pluck the blade away but stops, haltingly, her hands pushed away by this monster; reality. reality proves my visions false

hope pours blood and tears from a self inflicted wound.
